Jason and Neoma are here!

Hollis's sister and her husband came to visit us in Spain!  First they took a tour of our apartment.  I posted the video so that you can see what our apartment is like (since we never took photos or videos of it yet).

We then spent some time wandering around Alcalá.  We showed them the University and Plaza Cervantes.  Cervantes is the guy who wrote Don Quixote, and he was born in Alcalá.  Hence there is an awesome Don Quixote mural that I quite like.

Alcalá has a large population of storks - cingüeñas.  They build their large nests everywhere.  Nobody tries to keep the storks from building on the historic monuments - they birds are as important (if not more) to Alcalá as the buildings!

(three stork nests)
All that walking around was exhausting.

Tomorrow, Hollis will go with them to Segovia (I have an appointment with a midwife.)  Then the next day we embark on a driving adventure through southern Spain.  We plan to go to Granada, Gibralter, Tarifa, Ronda, and Córdoba.  We are borrowing the Jackson's GPS again and hope to have some exciting road adventures (like last time).
