Football

Leroy is learning young what teams are the "right" teams to cheer for - BYU and UW.  He is too little to actually watch the games (I'm trying to not let him have any "screen time" until he is at least one), but he can listen to them.  I think he enjoys it.

Sometimes my cheering is disturbing to him.  He had quite the funny face after I woke him up with my excitement following a UW touchdown.

Disc Golf

Hollis discovered that he loves disc golfing (aka frisbee golf). Disc golf uses special discs that are heavier. We found great course at Northgate that was really fun and not too hard. The middle picture is of the disc buried in the side of the hill after a really bad throw of mine.

Ultimate Service

Last year, Hollis and I were part of the Institute Council and we helped plan the 1st annual Ultimate Service Event. It was an ultimate frisbee tournament where the entry fee was a donation to Youth Care - an organization that helps homeless youth. Last year I was busy organizing the donations, so I didn't get to play.

This is me last year:
You can read the full article about last year's event on Mormon Times.

But this year - we got to play frisbee! Hollis asked around our ward and got some people to play. We never really practiced, and it was just a bunch of "old married folks" but we still won a game! There was a photographer there, and these are the best shots of Hollis and me:

Notice how cool my husband is.
