Hollis surprised me with a Nook the other day. It is this awesome e-reader. And now I can take lots of books to Spain with me even though I packed them up in all these boxes!
I love the Nook a lot because the whole thing is a touch screen but it still has the e-ink. The kindle has a tiny keyboard that I think would bother me, but it's still a good e-reader. The advantage of a Nook is it has a more open platform so you can put several different types of e-books on it, but on the Kindle I think you can only use Amazon's books. You can check out books from the library with the Nook, but not a Kindle. Nat saw mine and bought one, and then Brian bought one. I would get the B&W touch screen Nook over the other two options.
Lucky girl! A lot of my books got ruined in our flood....Car wants to get me a Kindle. Do you like the Nook? Do you think it's better than the Kindle?
